Malaysia is one of the most active esports ecosystems in Southeast Asia. With a large gaming community, a growing professional scene, and government backing through MDES (Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation), esports has become a serious industry here — no longer just a hobby for young people.
At Bayern 888, we understand that passion. We're more than just an esports betting platform — we're a genuine partner to Malaysia's esports community. Our platform offers full coverage of all major tournaments, from MPL Malaysia featuring local teams like Team HAQ and Todak, all the way to international stages like The International DOTA2 and Valorant Champions Tour.
What sets Bayern 888 apart from other platforms is the depth of betting markets we offer. It's not just about 'who wins' — we have first map markets, total kills, first blood, total rounds and many more specialised betting options that let experienced players leverage their knowledge to gain an edge.

One of the most common complaints esports fans have about mainstream betting platforms is the lack of deep markets. Most only offer basic win/loss options, with no specialised bets that truly test a bettor's game knowledge. At Bayern 888, we understand this need and we take it seriously.
For MLBB and Valorant, for example, we offer markets such as first map winner, total kills, first blood team, map handicap, and more. For DOTA2, we cover markets like first Roshan, first tower, kills within a set time period, and handicap based on team performance history. This is the kind of market depth you'd normally only find on international esports betting platforms — and we bring it directly to Malaysian players.
Furthermore, Bayern 888 provides regularly updated team and player statistics. Before placing a bet, you can review head-to-head records, a team's performance on specific maps, and their recent form in the current season. With this information at your fingertips, you can make more informed bets — not just rely on luck.
Seamless payments are a priority for us. With full support for Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, GrabPay, FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks, as well as ShopeePay and Boost, deposits and withdrawals at Bayern 888 as straightforward as possible for Malaysian players.

Register NowHonest reviews from Malaysian esports fans on our platform
"I've been playing MLBB for years and have followed MPL Malaysia since Season 1. The moment I started betting on Bayern 888, I was hooked — the markets are incredibly deep, with options like first blood, map winner, and total kills. Most other platforms only offer win/loss. The odds are competitive too, and DuitNow withdrawals are fast."
"I'm a Valorant specialist and Bayern 888 delivers exactly what I need — live odds during matches, comprehensive team stats, and customer support in BM. I once had a minor deposit issue and the support team resolved it within 10 minutes. No other local platform comes close for esports."
"I've been following DOTA2 for years, and Bayern 888 is the first platform where my knowledge has actually felt worthwhile. Head-to-head records, map data — it's all there. One piece of feedback though: I'd love to see more tier-2 Southeast Asian tournaments added to give us more markets to bet on."
